Love Through Literature
A National Lottery Funded Community Project
We are both excited and incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to bring a dream to life with the Love Through Literature Project. This project will be a year long celebration for our whole community. A celebration of story in all its forms and beauty. From book clubs to film making and creative writing workshops, writing for self exploration and understanding, poetry, short story and so much more.

We hope that this project will empower our community to understand one another with more honesty and compassion, to build connection across gender, generations and social status. We believe that story can be used to manipulate, but we want to use it to connect.

The project will culminate in a documentary film sharing the stories of participants throughout, and a published short story anthology for the writers that join in along the way. That means you! You are already a storyteller, we will show you how.

Visit this page often for events and updates, we will continue to write/blog here with the most recent news and events as our ongoing plans progress.

An Introduction to Narrative
Narratives surround us every day. They are the embedded within the media that we consume. The news that may be on run the background, the headlines adorning our shelves and the posts that social media algorithms decide for us to see.

Then there's the inner narrative made up of our own life story and those that have shaped us. How can we find a deeper understanding of narrative in order to take control of who we are and how we interact with our fast paced technological world?

Join us in these exploratory workshops for open discussion and story telling theory.
